City Manager Blaine Cox announces that the City of Rochester is seeking election workers for next week’s election.

The City Clerk’s Office is actively recruiting residents who would like to provide support at polling places during the Nov. 5 municipal election. Poll workers must be 18 years old and reside in the city.

Election officers assist with a variety of responsibilities on election day, including opening and closing the polls, staffing check-in tables and other administrative duties. Workers will receive training, as well as a stipend for their work.
