Enjoy dinner, a festival, and a fireworks display in downtown Rochester on Wednesday evening.  The public is invited to park downtown in public lots, enjoy what downtown has to offer, then catch the free COAST shuttle to the Community Center to enjoy the Fireworks Festival!

COAST has partnered with the City of Rochester and Rochester Main Street to help transport the public to the free festivities being held at Spaulding High School and the Rochester Community Center. The COAST shuttle will cycle approximately every 15 minutes beginning at approximately 5:45pm and ending at approximately 10:15pm.  The shuttle will run between the Community Center, the North Main Street public parking lot, and the City municipal complex lot.  The shuttle will also stop on Union Street in front of Curlies Comedy Club for pick-up and drop-off.  Check the DoubleMap app to get real-time locations of the shuttle!

The Fireworks Festival begins at 6:00pm in front of the Community Center.  The festival features food, vendors, children’s activities, face painting, Wildlife Encounters, and more!  The fireworks are scheduled to begin around 9:30pm with viewing from the athletic fields of Spaulding High School.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the show, but leave Fido at home.  This is a pet-free event for the safety and comfort of all attendees.

Available event parking is in all public parking areas and in the former Ben Franklin parking lot.  Private lots or driveways should not be used.

This event is a collaboration between Rochester Main Street and the City of Rochester.

Anyone Interested in volunteering for this or any other Main Street event is welcome to contact the office at [email protected].
