2 min read

Rochester NH professional photographer Tanya Hervey was sworn in as President for the New Hampshire Professional Photographers Association (NHPPA) on Sunday April 28th, at their annual conference at the Margate Resort in Laconia NH.

Hervey, owner of Tanya Lee Hervey Photography, joined the NHPPA in 2014 and credits her involvement with the association for helping her grow as a photographer and helping her business thrive by attending the monthly speaker meetings, workshops, and seminars that the association provides to its members throughout the year.

Hervey’s term as NHPPA President will begin on June 1 of this year and run through May 31 2020. Things that she aspires to bring to the association during her presidency are new marketing methods for current and upcoming generations, increased member involvement, and new member acquisition.

The New Hampshire Professional Photographers Association (NHPPA) is a non-profit association of professional photographers and other interested persons who are dedicated to photography as an art, business, and science.

The mission of the NHPPA is to assist its members in achieving their professional and artistic goals; to promote public awareness of the photography profession; and to advance the making of images in all of its disciplines as an art, a science, and a visual recorder of history.
