R.W. Creteau Technology Center Director Michele Halligan-Foley is pleased to announce that faculty and staff were recently presented with collared shirts bearing the center’s new student-designed logo.

The shirts, which feature the official logo designed by Photography/Videography senior Emme Johnson, were donated to the school by Holy Rosary Credit Union (HRCU).

Superintendent Michael Hopkins and Banking Teacher Angela Lattime joined Johnson and Halligan-Foley at a special unveiling of the shirts at the HRCU branch at Spaulding High School. At the ceremony, Johnson presented the shirts to the school leaders in attendance, as well as HRCU CEO Brian Hughes and HRCU Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Rosemary Shields.

Last year, Johnson’s Tree of Knowledge logo, which includes nods to each of the center’s technical programs, won the school-wide logo design contest. HRCU volunteered to help create official school t-shirts using her design.

“We were more than happy to support this project and help bring Emme’s hard work to life,” HRCU CEO Brian Hughes said. “We truly value our partnership with Creteau Tech and the Rochester Schools, and this is a great way for us to give back to the school community.”

At the presentation, Superintendent Hopkins presented Johnson with a shirt of her own, as well as a letter from Governor Chris Sununu congratulating her on her work.

“Emme created an excellent visual identity for the school that truly captures what Creteau Tech is all about,” Superintendent Hopkins said. “The logo will be a great legacy for her to leave behind as she looks forward to graduation, and I look forward to seeing her work live on for years to come.”
