The Rochester Opera House was among over a dozen nonprofits that were awarded $4 million in tax credits this week from the Community Development Finance Authority.

The Opera House was awarded a $140,000 in credits that will help the organization purchase space downtown to support the expansion of its programming.

Through the expansion, the Rochester Opera House will provide the community with increased access to arts and culture while contributing to the ongoing efforts to revitalize downtown Rochester.
