Dillon Guyer never imagined that he would become a “small-town celebrity” in his native Rochester, but he believes the impact that his business has had on the community has made him exactly that.
His travel agency, Guyer Travel International, was born from his passion for travel and his commitment to helping families get the most out of their vacations. Four years in, he serves families from right here in Rochester, as well as several from around the world, providing each with a highly personalized experience.
“We’ve been labeled a ‘boutique’ style agency with a flare for luxury,” said Guyer. “Every little thing is considered, and no detail is ever overlooked. We accommodate all price points and demographics and help ensure that everyone we work with gets exactly what they’re looking for — and more — out of their travel experience.”
Guyer chose to open his business in Rochester because it is a “community with charm,” and with 30,000 citizens, he knew the travel agency would make an impact.
He spent his first 18 years in Rochester, and therefore focuses most of his community service efforts in his native city. Guyer Travel has volunteered and worked with Rochester Main Street, Rochester Police, Spaulding High School, Creteau Tech and more.
The agency’s hallmark event, National Night Out, features a giveaway of over 300 backpacks full of supplies, as well as a free family film on the common.
Due to his on-the-go lifestyle, Guyer is always traveling and thinking of new events to bring home to the community, as well as ways that he can innovate and improve his business.
Guyer Travel is always open online, and with clients all over the world he is happy to provide service at all hours.
